The Early Bird Certificate Package was released in th e fourth quarter of 1977. It included a display for the first 12 figures from Star Wars, a sticker set, a Space Club card and the coupon for ordering the four Early Bird Set figures. These very first Kenner Star Wars action figures were released in February, 1978. Kenner sold 500,000 sales of the Certificate, for a total of 2,000,000 figures.[1]
