Template:Vehicle The Imperial Troop Transporter was released in 1978. One "C" battery (not included) is required to hear the sound clips.
Accessories
The Imperial Troop Transporter features a rotating laser cannon and radar dish, a droid prisoner compartment, 6 personnel pods, and 6 buttons which activate the movie sound clips. Also included with the toy are 2 prisoner immobilization units and a story booklet.
There is some inconsistency in the names of parts of the toy between the instruction booklet and the story booklet. For example, the individual troop carrying units on the sides of the vehicle are called "personnel pods" in the instructions and "Traveling Racks" in the story booklet.
